Nach der erfolgreichen und erstmaligen Durchführung im letzten Jahr begehen die Ostschweizer Bierproduzenten erneut das Brausilvester. Diese alte Tradition aus dem Mittelalter findet in der Ostschweiz am 30. September / 1. Oktober statt. Nicht mit einem Silvester im Sinne “Fest” sondern mit Bierpräsentationen, Bierproduktständen und Degustationen. Freuen Sie sich auf Craft-Biere, Spezialitäten aus der Region, importierte ausländische Spezialitäten, Biercocktails, verwandte Bierprodukte wie Whisky und Cider, Merchandising-Produkte, Bierkulinarik und Genussprodukte aus Bieressenzen (Käse, Fleisch, Schokolade, Liköre usw.), Gläser sowie Präsentationen von Verbänden und Fachgruppen.

Finally! BDB moved the whole brewing equipment to the new location at Moosstrasse 52, 9014 St. Gallen last weekend. Happy to start brewing there with a lot more space and much much fun! 🙂 If you intend to look in on us, the opening times are always noted in the left bar on this page or you can always contact us in advance!
The pallet with exact 2888 black bottles just came in… We have decided to slowly but sureley move away from the flip-top bottles, only keeping them for special editions. The reasons are that it simplifies the bottling, the pledge must not be paid anymore and – what is very exciting – we will soon have our own crazy awesome fancy labels! 🙂
After a great nite at Capo’s Burger House last weekend, it’s now clear for BDB what to do!
The first brew of the new custom-made, shiny red American IPA surprises with a blackberry-litchi nose, a sparkling mouthfeeling and a thrust bitterness in the finish. A big “thank you” to Steve who already infects everybody walkin’ in with his enthusiasm to enjoy this beer! 🙂 The official release or rather tapping is the end of March, so keep your bright blue eyes wide awake! 😉

I really love this kick-ass American Style and their obliging attendance around your dining corner. And these are just three reasons why I am so excited to create now a custom-made American IPA with these guys! Everything is currently in the initial phase, but we will keep you posted of any progress, so that you have the chance to savor the Capo’s American IPA as one of the first and only there! Can’t wait?
